Ash St. Gelais is a queer Vermont-based entrepreneur, real estate investor, healing practitioner, and the visionary founder of The Sanctuary for Healing & Liberation — a community-built space where lightworkers can serve without limits. Rooted in both business leadership and deep spiritual practice, Ash has spent the last two decades building a life devoted to liberation in all forms: financial, emotional, and spiritual.
Ash’s entrepreneurial journey began early. After purchasing their first property at 21, they spent years as a mortgage lender at a nonprofit credit union, gaining a deep understanding of ethical and sustainable real estate investing. Without a trust fund or a high-paying corporate job, Ash built financial freedom through grit, strategy, and a belief that wealth-building should be accessible to everyone. Over time, Ash acquired eight properties, launched Fusion Property Management in 2012, created the Real Estate Freedom Bootcamp, which is designed to empower people to purchase properties without a lot of cash, (with the larger goal of changing the distribution of wealth in our community) and later curated Vermont Lakehouse Retreat— a restorative lakeside oasis designed for deep rest, creative inspiration, and healing experiences.
Alongside their work, Ash has undergone a profound personal journey of shadow integration and trauma healing. This work awakened a calling to support others on their path to true freedom & liberation. Today, Ash blends John Barnes Myofascial Release, Energy Healing, and coaching to help individuals embrace all parts of themselves and unlock the joy, magic, and authenticity that follow true self-acceptance.
Ash is most passionate about creating intentional spaces where transformation can unfold. Through intimate retreats, group ceremonies, and one-on-one healing memberships, they offer sacred containers designed not for temporary shifts but for long-term, embodied change. This devotion to community healing is what inspired The Sanctuary for Healing & Liberation — a home for practitioners and lightworkers to gather, serve, co-create, and expand their impact using fully equipped healing rooms, gathering spaces, and adaptable studios. Ash is passionate about using their entrepreneurial wisdom to support lightworkers & their work & impact on the world.
At the heart of all Ash’s work — whether leading their companies or helping someone integrate a profound emotional breakthrough — is a commitment to liberation: financial, emotional, and spiritual. Ash believes transformational work should ripple outward into families, communities, leading to true lasting change, for generations to come.
